According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world gasoline and oil market in this operating period is affected by key factors such as: the peace negotiation process between the US and Iran along with the resumption of oil transportation through the Ormuz Strait being stalled; increased tensions in the Middle East region when the UAE announced the suspension of all trade and financial transactions with Iran; military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, focusing heavily on energy facilities and oil refineries...
The above factors have caused world finished gasoline and oil prices in recent days to increase and decrease depending on the item, but the upward trend is main.
According to a representative of a business, in the gasoline and oil price adjustment period next week, gasoline and oil prices may increase slightly. In which, gasoline prices may increase from 200-500 VND/liter, while oil prices may increase from 200-800 VND/liter. However, this business noted that the actual increase or decrease depends on the provision and spending of the gasoline and oil price stabilization fund.
The selling prices of popular consumer gasoline and oil items on the market in the operating period on August 23rd are as follows:
- E5 RON92 gasoline: not higher than 21,833 VND/liter, 835 VND/liter lower than E10 RON95-III gasoline;
- E10 RON95-III gasoline: not higher than 22,668 VND/liter;
- Diesel oil 0.05S: not higher than 28,543 VND/liter;
- 180CST 3.5S fuel oil: not higher than 17,689 VND/kg.
