According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world gasoline and oil market in this operating period is affected by key factors such as: the peace negotiation process between the US and Iran along with the resumption of oil transportation through the Ormuz Strait being stalled; increased tensions in the Middle East region when the UAE announced the suspension of all trade and financial transactions with Iran; military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, focusing heavily on energy facilities and oil refineries...
The above factors have caused world finished gasoline and oil prices in recent days to increase and decrease depending on the item, but the upward trend is main.
The selling prices of popular consumer gasoline and oil items on the market in the operating period on August 20 are as follows:
- E5 RON92 gasoline: not higher than 21,833 VND/liter (an increase of 598 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price), lower than E10 RON95-III gasoline by 835 VND/liter;
- E10 RON95-III gasoline: not higher than 22,668 VND/liter (an increase of 549 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price);
- Diesel oil 0.05S: not higher than 28,543 VND/liter (an increase of 1,310 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price);
- 180CST 3.5S mazut oil: not higher than 17,689 VND/kg (an increase of 933 VND/kg compared to the current maximum selling price).
