Oil prices are under downward pressure due to diplomatic expectations, but geopolitical risks in Hormuz are still present. In the short term, the market will focus on monitoring the progress of US-Iran negotiations, the US oil inventory report and the decision to manage domestic gasoline and oil prices on August 6.

The world gasoline and oil market in the past week's operating period was affected by key factors such as: Conflict between the US and Iran temporarily cooled down but then showed signs of re-emerging; Iran continued to attack some ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz; military conflict showed signs of spreading in the Middle East region when the US, Saudi Arabia and Iranian-backed armed groups in Iraq had mutual attacks; military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continued, focusing on energy facilities, oil refineries...

The above factors have caused world finished gasoline and oil prices in recent days to increase and decrease depending on the item.
