World oil prices soared to 7% as Israel and Iran attacked each other, raising investors' concerns that the conflict could significantly disrupt oil exports from the Middle East.

The above factors have mainly caused the world oil price to increase in recent days.
Regarding the domestic petroleum situation, a representative of a business enterprise said that domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may increase sharply.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to increase by about 400-600 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increases by about 300-500 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 350-550 VND/liter.
Domestic retail gasoline prices on June 14, 2025 will be applied according to the adjustment session from 3:00 p.m. on June 12 of the Ministry of Finance - Ministry of Industry and Trade.
In the adjustment session on June 12, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline increased compared to the previous adjustment period, at VND 19,462/liter (up VND 199/liter). RON 95-III gasoline price increased compared to the previous adjustment period, priced at VND19/967/liter (up VND269/liter).
Prices of oil products have also increased simultaneously. Of which, diesel 0.05S is priced at VND17,700/liter (up VND280/liter); kerosene has a new price of VND17,511/liter (up VND227/liter); mazut is priced at VND16,461/kg (up VND283/kg).
