On the afternoon of June 14, the People's Committee of Tan Hoa commune (Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh province) said that the authorities had found the body of one of the two biological sisters missing due to floods in the early morning of June 13.
The victim was identified as Ms. T.T.D (born in 1969, residing in Tan Hoa commune). The body was found about 1km from the accident site in the early afternoon of June 14. Currently, her sister, Ms. T.T.D (born in 1963) has not been found, and the search is still being urgently deployed.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, at around 1:00 a.m. on June 13, 3 women residing in village 3, Tan Hoa commune went to see frog. While moving through the flooded area, all 3 were unfortunately swept away by floodwaters. 1 person was lucky to escape, 2 people are missing, both of whom are brothers.
Immediately after receiving the report, the authorities mobilized many forces to search along the stream branches and areas where the victim was suspected of being swept away. Due to prolonged heavy rain and strong water flows, the search was difficult.
In another development, in Nhan Trach commune (Bo Trach district), the couple who went missing while fishing since the morning of June 13 have not been found. Previously, the two victims' sons discovered their parents' boat drifting alone on the Dinh River.
On the afternoon of June 14, in Nhan Trach commune (Bo Trach district), the authorities also found the body of the husband in the case of a couple missing while fishing on the Dinh river. The victim was spotted about 150 meters from the coast. The wife's body has not yet been found.
