WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 69.43 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 69.65 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 63.63 USD/barrel, up 0.25 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.39%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 63.38 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 63.63 USD/barrel.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world petroleum market last week's price adjustment period (from October 30, 2025 to November 5, 2025) was affected by main factors such as: The US Federal Reserve (Fed) cut interest rates; the USD increased prices; US crude oil inventories increased, US petroleum and distillate inventories decreased; OPEC+ agreed to slightly increase oil exploitation output in December 2025 and temporarily suspend oil exploitation output in the first quarter of 2026; The military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues...

According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price management period, retail prices of gasoline may have a slight adjustment in the direction of decreasing gasoline prices and increasing oil prices.
In the recent adjustment session (November 6), gasoline prices decreased simultaneously compared to the previous price management period. Of which, E5 RON 92 gasoline is priced at VND19,682/liter (down VND78/liter). RON 95-III gasoline is priced at VND 20,416/liter (down VND 72/liter).
Prices of oil products fluctuated in different directions. Of which, diesel 0.05S is priced at VND19,323/liter (up VND120/liter); kerosene has a new price of VND19,395/liter (up VND124/liter); mazut 180CST 3.5S is priced at VND14,320/kg (down VND319/kg).
