The end of the weekend session saw red covering domestic and international coffee prices. The reason is believed to be the weak Brazilian real. The real fell to its lowest level in a month on Friday trading day.
However, most analysts believe that low coffee inventories are still the main cause, limiting the decline in coffee prices.
In Vietnam, the new harvest has started with mild levels, although there is still heavy rain in some places in the main growing area of the Central Highlands.
Thus, coffee prices will continue to remain high due to inventory and adverse weather conditions in the two largest coffee growing countries, Brazil and Vietnam.
