Domestic coffee prices
Today's coffee price in the domestic market averages maintained at 93,700 VND/kg, anchored in the price range of 93,000-93,800 VND/kg.
In Gia Lai and Dak Lak, coffee prices were recorded at 93,600 VND/kg.
In Lam Dong, the listed coffee price is at 93,000 VND/kg.
The old Dak Nong area recorded the highest price in the whole region at 93,800 VND/kg.
The USD/VND exchange rate according to Vietcombank is recorded at 25,790 VND/USD.
World coffee prices
In the world market, coffee prices remain unchanged for all terms.
According to Barchart, the September 2026 Robusta contract is anchored at 3,366 USD/ton. In the same direction, the November 2026 term is listed at 3,396 USD/ton. The term from January 2027 to May 2027 is listed in the price range of 3,353 - 3,373 USD/ton.
Similarly, Arabica December 2026 futures fell to 271.95 cents/lb. March 2027 futures were offered to the market at 269.50 cents/lb. Further forwards were anchored in the range of 264.80 - 268.20 cents/lb.
Assessments and forecasts
The coffee market is moving towards the end of the 2025/26 crop year (from October 2025 - September 2026) and preparing to transition to the new 2026 - 2027 crop year. In Vietnam, the world's largest Robusta producer, most of the 2025 - 2026 crop year output has been put on the market. The total output of this crop year is estimated at an average of 32.5 million bags (of which Robusta accounts for 31 million bags), marking a recovery after two previous consecutive crop years of decline.
Entering the 2026/27 crop year, Vietnam's total coffee production is forecast to decrease slightly to an average of 31 million bags, including 29.8 million Robusta bags and 1.2 million Arabica bags.
The weather in the main growing areas in the Central Highlands currently maintains late summer rain according to the law, creating favorable conditions for coffee trees to develop before entering the official harvest season in October.
