Dong Thanh and Quy Luong are 2 of the communes affected by the recent floods. After the flood, many rice areas in the harvest season in the 2 communes were flooded.
Immediately after the water started to recede, commune police officers and soldiers were present in the affected fields, coordinating with forces to directly help people harvest and transport rice home.
In Dong Thanh village, Dong Thanh commune, many production areas are still deeply flooded, causing difficulties in harvesting and transporting rice.
Faced with the above situation, officers and soldiers of Dong Thanh Commune Police and local forces directly went to the fields, coordinated with people to collect and transport each bundle of rice out of the flooded area, helping people minimize damage caused by rain and floods.
In Luong Ngoai village, Quy Luong commune, the commune police have coordinated with forces in the area, directly going to the fields to support people to urgently harvest flooded rice areas at risk of damage.
On the morning of September 21, Mau Lam Commune Police, Thanh Hoa province also mobilized officers, soldiers and union members to go to the fields to help people in Phu Son village harvest rice affected by floods.
Also on the morning of September 21, nearly 200 officers and soldiers of Division 390, Army Corps 12 marched to villages in Kim Tan commune, coordinating with local authorities and people to urgently overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
Here, officers and soldiers of Division 390 directly went to each household, together with people to clean houses, rearrange furniture, clean utensils; harvest rice, dry rice; sweep village roads, alleys, cultural houses; collect and treat waste, clear sewers, and sanitize the environment after floods.
