For some exporters such as Simexco DakLak and some businesses, they are no longer interested in participating in the market. Actual demand is recorded at a slow level and businesses need a large amount of capital to maintain. According to estimates, businesses need 2 billion USD to buy about 30% of Vietnam's early-season coffee output.
With the current unpredictable coffee market, businesses need to manage risks and focus on safety criteria to ensure business efficiency at the end of the year. With coffee prices continuously reaching new peaks like now and an estimated output of 1.6-1.8 million tons/year, the value of the Vietnamese coffee industry has surpassed the 8 billion USD mark.
