On the afternoon of December 25, in Hanoi, the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission for the 2020-2025 term held its 21st session to review and propose disciplinary action against a number of violating party organizations and individuals, according to the Government Electronic Information Portal.
Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Director of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission - chaired the meeting.
Attending the meeting were Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense, Member of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission; Deputy Directors and Members of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission.
At the meeting, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hung - Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission - briefly reported on the content of the violations of 4 party organizations and 12 cadres and party members of the units that the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission considered and proposed disciplinary measures.
After listening to the proposed report and clarifying and supplementing opinions, the delegates attending the session voted to propose disciplinary measures for violating groups and individuals, reporting to the Central Military Commission Standing Committee for consideration and decision.
Concluding the session, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet affirmed that the proposed forms of disciplinary review are strict, objective, fair, and highly educational.
Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet requested the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission to receive and promptly complete the documents to report to the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission for consideration according to regulations.
Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet noted that this is the preparation stage for the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term. Therefore, the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission needs to regularly grasp the situation, direct and guide Party committees and Party inspection commissions at all levels to effectively carry out inspection, supervision, timely handling and resolution of petitions and complaints, creating stability in agencies and units, contributing to leading and directing the preparation of all aspects and successfully organizing Party Congresses at all levels.
