Of which, Hung Yen, Hai Phong (up 2,000 VND/kg) and Bac Ninh (up 1,000 VND/kg) have live pig prices of 68,000 VND/kg - the highest level today. Some other localities also have inflated pork prices by 2,000 VND/kg, such as Lao Cai, Lai Chau (up to 66,000 VND/kg), Cao Bang, Son La (up to 67,000 VND/kg).
In the Central region, the price of live pigs today ranges from 63,000 - 65,000 VND/kg. In particular, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong have had live pig prices increase by VND 1,000/kg, to VND 63,000/kg. Thanh Hoa and Nghe An have increased the price of live pigs by VND 1,000/kg, to VND 66,000/kg, equal to the price in Da Nang.
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs today is flat and ranges from 60,000 - 63,000 VND/kg. Of which, An Giang, Ca Mau, Can Tho have live pig prices at 60,000 VND/kg. Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City have live pig prices at 63,000 VND/kg.
