Cao Bang, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong and Hung Yen continue to buy at 69,000 VND/kg, maintaining the highest price in the country. Localities such as Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho and Son La keep prices around 68,000 VND/kg.
In the Central region, the pig market is moving sideways, with purchase prices unchanged from the previous day. Thanh Hoa and Nghe An are still at 68,000 VND/kg, the highest in the region. Ha Tinh and Quang Ngai are trading around 66,000 VND/kg, while Gia Lai and Dak Lak maintain the level of 64,000 - 65,000 VND/kg. The remaining localities in the region continue to fluctuate between 63,000 - 68,000 VND/kg.
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs on December 21 continued to stagnate, without recording any new fluctuations. The common purchase price is around 60,000 - 63,000 VND/kg, lower than in the North and Central regions. Dong Nai, Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City maintain the price of 63,000 VND/kg, while An Giang, Ca Mau, Vinh Long and Can Tho maintain the price of 60,000 - 61,000 VND/kg.
