In particular, Lai Chau and Dien Bien have imported live pigs at an increase of VND 1,000/kg (up VND 51,000/kg), Son La (up VND 52,000/kg), Cao Bang, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Lao Cai (up VND 53,000/kg), Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Hung Yen (up VND 54,000/kg). Tuyen Quang and Phu Tho have increased the price of live pigs by 2,000 VND/kg, to 54,000 VND/kg.
In the Central region, the price of live pigs today increased by 1,000 VND/kg in 4 provinces and cities. Of which, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An increased to 52,000 VND/kg, Gia Lai to 48,000 VND/kg. A series of provinces have live pig prices at 46,000 VND/kg such as: Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang.
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs today ranges from 49,000 - 52,000 VND/kg. Of which, An Giang has the lowest import price of live pigs in the region at 49,000 VND/kg. Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City have live pig prices at 52,000 VND/kg. Dong Thap is the only locality with the price of live pigs increased by VND 1,000/kg, to VND 50,000/kg.
