Some localities such as Hanoi and Hung Yen have higher prices, reaching 62,000 VND/kg. The lowest level was recorded in Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La at 60,000 VND/kg.
In the Central region, the price of live pigs today decreased in most provinces and cities. Of which, Gia Lai and Quang Tri decreased by VND 1,000/kg to VND 58,000/kg - the lowest price in the country. Thanh Hoa and Khanh Hoa also decreased by VND 1,000/kg to VND 60,000/kg, equal to the prices in Nghe An and Dak Lak provinces. Lam Dong province has the highest price of live pigs in the region at 63,000 VND/kg.
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs is generally still the highest in the country, ranging from 62,000 - 64,000 VND/kg. Localities such as Tay Ninh and Ca Mau recorded 64,000 VND/kg - the highest price in the country. Dong Thap, Ho Chi Minh City recorded a decrease in live pig prices by VND 1,000.kg to VND 62,000/kg, equal to the price in Vinh Long.
