In the Northern region, live pig prices in many localities recorded an increase of 1,000 VND/kg. After adjustment, Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Lang Son, Dien Bien, Quang Ninh and Ninh Binh are all at 69,000 VND/kg. Currently, live pig prices in the region range from 67,000 - 70,000 VND/kg, the highest in the country.
In the Central region, live pig prices continued to rise.Thanh Hoa and Nghe An recorded 70,000 VND/kg; Ha Tinh 67,000 VND/kg; Lam Dong 65,000 VND/kg - the lowest in the region.
In the Southern region, the market edged up after a period of stabilization. Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City increased by 1,000 VND/kg, to 66,000 VND/kg; Vinh Long reached 63,000 VND/kg. Regional prices fluctuated at 62,000 - 66,000 VND/kg, the lowest in the country.
