In the Northern region, the price of live pigs today is flat and ranges from 69,000 - 71,000 VND/kg. Of which, Hung Yen is still the only locality with the price of live pigs at 71,000 VND/kg - the highest price today. Many localities have live pig prices of VND70,000/kg such as: Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Lao Cai, Phu Tho.
In the Central region, the price of live pigs today increased slightly in some localities, Dak Lak (up to 66,000 VND/kg) and Khanh Hoa (up to 65,000 VND/kg). Thanh Hoa and Nghe An have live pig prices at 70,000 VND/kg. Lam Dong is the locality with the lowest import price of live pigs in the region, at 64,000 VND/kg.
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs today also increased slightly in some localities. Some provinces and cities have increased the price of live pigs by 1,000 VND/kg such as: Can Tho, An Giang (up to 62,000 VND/kg), Tay Ninh (up to 64,000 VND/kg), Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai (up to 65,000 VND/kg).
