Assessment and forecast
The demand for pepper in the international market remains high, especially from large markets such as the US and EU. Exporting enterprises are also stepping up purchases to meet orders from Europe and the US. However, supply from major producers such as Brazil and Indonesia is struggling due to unfavorable weather, which could create upward pressure on prices in the coming time.
The domestic market is stabilizing at a high price level, with pepper output in large growing areas guaranteed. However, the psychology of farmers storing goods is still high, leading to garden owners limiting sales, contributing to maintaining pepper prices at a high level.
