Assessments and forecasts
After many weeks of price reductions, the domestic pepper market has shown signs of recovery even though the increase has not broken through. However, this new development shows that the pepper market still needs stronger signals from buying power and import demand from major markets to confirm a sustainable upward trend.
According to analysts, pepper prices may continue to fluctuate in a narrow range if there is no strong impact from the international market. It is forecasted that in the second quarter of 2026, pepper prices may continue to maintain at a high level, especially when export demand remains stable.
