Assessments and forecasts
According to the International Pepper Corporation (IPC), the global pepper market in the third week of June showed mixed reactions but was generally balanced. In most major pepper producing countries, the domestic currency recorded an average price increase against the USD, creating a supporting foundation for the domestic market and contributing to maintaining stable trading conditions.
In the domestic market, pepper prices have increased for 2 consecutive days, however, the highest price threshold cannot exceed 140,000 VND/kg. Currently, demand from import markets and positive trading sentiment are still important supporting factors for the pepper industry.
