Domestic pepper prices
As of 1 pm today (June 26), domestic pepper prices maintained a high price threshold, averaging 137,900 VND/kg. Currently, key areas are trading in the range of 137,000 - 139,000 VND/kg.
Domestic pepper prices remain unchanged, except for Dong Nai province, which decreased by 500 VND/kg, anchored at the threshold of 137,000 VND/kg.
Currently, listed provinces and cities are as follows:
Gia Lai province trades at the threshold of 137,000 VND/kg. This is the lowest price of domestic pepper offered to the market.
Ho Chi Minh City maintains a price of 137,500 VND/kg.
Dak Lak and Lam Dong both offer for sale at a purchase price of 139,000 VND/kg.
World pepper price
In the world market, pepper prices remained unchanged in most countries. In particular, the price of black and white pepper in Indonesia decreased, trading in the range of 7,124 - 9,256 USD/ton (equivalent to 188,473 VND/kg - 244,877 VND/kg), down 34 USD/ton and 45 USD/ton respectively.
Meanwhile, the price of black pepper in Brazil sold to the market is 5,900 USD/ton (about 156,091 VND/kg). Notably, black and white pepper in Malaysia are still trading at high prices, respectively 12,250 USD/ton and 9,350 USD/ton.
In Vietnam's pepper export market, the price of black pepper of 500 g/l and 550 g/l remains unchanged at 6,100 - 6,200 USD/ton. In the same direction, ASTA white pepper is offered for sale at 9,000 USD/ton (equivalent to 238,104 VND/kg).

Assessments and forecasts
According to statistics from the Customs Department, in May 2026, Vietnam exported 25.11 thousand tons of pepper, worth 166.9 million USD, down 18.9% in volume and down 13.9% in value compared to April 2026, down 4.5% in volume and down 8.3% in value compared to the same period in 2025.
The average export price reached 6,647 USD/ton, up 6.1% compared to the previous month and up 4% compared to the same period last year, showing that world pepper prices are still maintained at a high level.
Accumulated in the first 5 months of 2026, Vietnam exported 121.91 thousand tons of pepper, reaching a turnover of 789.74 million USD, an increase of 22% in volume and 14.4% in turnover compared to the same period in 2025. The average export price was 6,478 USD/ton, down 6.2% compared to the same period last year.
The pepper market had a stable trading session, except for a slight decrease in Dong Nai province. The pepper market still needs stronger signals from buying power and import demand from major markets to confirm a sustainable upward trend.
