According to records, the retail price level at PVOIL is currently equivalent to Zone 1 of Petrolimex in many key items such as RON 95-III gasoline, E10 RON 95-III gasoline, E5 RON 92-II gasoline and diesel oil. Compared to Zone 2 prices of Petrolimex, items at PVOIL are lower by about 460 - 570 VND/liter depending on the product, creating a certain competitive advantage in some large fuel consumption areas.
The domestic gasoline and oil price level currently maintains a stable state after the operating period on May 28. However, the market is still closely monitoring the developments of world crude oil prices as many factors related to supply, geopolitics and global energy demand may affect the next operating periods. International oil prices currently fluctuate around the threshold of 90 - 97 USD/barrel.
