Based on the diễn biến of world finished gasoline and oil prices and the price management mechanism according to regulations, at the operating period on March 19, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance adjusted gasoline and oil prices from 11 pm on the same day, and at the same time continued to use the Price Stabilization Fund to contribute to market stability.
Accordingly, in urgent document No. 1825/BCT-TTTN dated March 19, 2026 on gasoline and oil business management sent to key traders and distributors, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance decided to use the gasoline and oil price stabilization fund at a level of 3,000 - 4,000 VND per liter (kg), depending on each item.
In which, the spending level for bio-gasoline and unleaded gasoline is 3,000 VND/liter; diesel oil 4,000 VND/liter; kerosene 3,000 VND/liter and mazut oil 3,000 VND/kg.
After implementing the provision and spending of the Gasoline and Oil Price Stabilization Fund for gasoline and oil items as above, from 11:00 PM on March 19, the selling prices of popular consumer gasoline and oil items on the market, the maximum retail prices for gasoline and oil items are applied as follows:
- E5RON92 gasoline: not higher than 27,177 VND/liter;
- RON95-III gasoline: not higher than 30,690 VND/liter;
- Diesel oil 0.05S: not higher than 33,420 VND/liter;
- Kerosene: not higher than 35,926 VND/liter;
- Madut oil 180CST 3.5S: not higher than 22,189 VND/kg.
