Silver market bustling with buyers
Recorded by Lao Dong reporter on September 18, domestic silver prices continued to decrease sharply. Many silver shops in Hanoi are bustling with customers. Many people choose to spend money to buy as savings when prices drop.

At a silver shop on Cau Giay Street, Hanoi, Ms. Do Thu Ha (Nghia Do Ward, Hanoi) shared: "I want to buy metal as an asset to save money, but it is difficult to buy gold, so I have to switch to silver".
Ms. Ha said that currently, if you want to buy silver, you have to wait in line, but the waiting time is not as long as buying gold. According to her, silver prices are in a reasonable area for gradual accumulation, especially as long-term forecasts still show that this metal still has potential for price increase. See more...

Dried coconuts continue to hit a peak, farmers regret not entering the main crop
Mr. Le Phuoc Hung, a farmer in An Thanh commune (Can Tho city) who has just sold 1.2 hectares of natural coconut (1,540 fruits) said that he has been attached to coconut trees for almost his entire life but he has never seen prices increase as much as they do now. If 5 months ago traders bought 177,000 VND/dozen, now it has increased to 190,000 VND/dozen (12 stocks).
"In recent years, all household spending has been on monthly coconut sales. Therefore, when coconut prices increase, we farmers are very excited because we have a significant income, a better life and accumulation conditions" - Mr. Hung said.

Mr. Hung added that at the time of the peak harvest, the 1.5-hectare coconut garden could produce more than 1-1,5 natural coconuts per batch, but currently about 80% are preparing for the main crop. Currently, the family is actively taking care of the trees to make them grow and reach their size. See more...
