These are officers who have voluntarily applied for retirement to facilitate the work of streamlining the organization of the Provincial Police force in the coming time.
At the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Tien Trung - Director of Lang Son Provincial Police Department presented the decision to retire and enjoy pension benefits to 13 comrades, including 6 Department Heads and 7 Deputy Department Heads.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Director of Lang Son Police highly appreciated the exemplary and pioneering activities of the comrades; at the same time, emphasized that this is not only an act of personal significance but also an important contribution to the organization and construction of an increasingly disciplined, elite and modern People's Public Security force.
He expressed his hope that after retirement, key officials will continue to accompany, share experiences and contribute intelligence to the public security sector in general and Lang Son Police in particular.
On behalf of the comrades receiving the retirement decision, Colonel Nguyen Trung Thanh, Head of the Foreign Security Department, expressed his appreciation for the policy of the Party and the police force in arranging and perfecting the organizational apparatus.
The Head of the Foreign Security Department shared: "We 13 comrades have worked in the People's Public Security force, the most of them have been in the public security force for more than 40 years, the least of them have been in the public security force for more than 30 years. During the working process, we have strived, matured from cadres and soldiers to holding leadership and command positions.
In all difficulties and challenges, we have worked with the Party committees, leaders, units and localities to unite, complete assigned tasks and contribute to protecting national security and maintaining social order and safety. Our growth process has always been wholeheartedly supported by comrades and teammates".
"Although we have retired, we promise to continue to maintain, train, and be ready to support, contribute, and build the Lang Son Provincial Police force under the conditions and capabilities when the unit needs it" - Colonel Nguyen Trung Thanh said.
