On May 21, Politburo Member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc attended and spoke at the ceremony to award the 35-year Party Badge to 2 party members of the Party Committee of advisory and assisting agencies of the Government Party Committee.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the decisions of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee on awarding the 35-year Party Badge in the 19th phase of May 2026 to Mr. Lai Xuan Lam - Deputy Secretary in charge of the Government Party Committee and Mr. Chu Dinh Dong - Deputy Head of the Organization Committee of the Government Party Committee.
Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc emphasized that the Government Party Committee plays a particularly important role in implementing the resolutions of the 14th National Party Congress, resolutions and conclusions of the Central Government, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the National Assembly, action programs and strategic resolutions of the Politburo.
Along with amending Decision No. 249-QD/TW of the Politburo on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Government Party Committee, the Standing Deputy Prime Minister said that the Government Party Committee is building and perfecting working regulations, functions, and tasks in the direction of innovating leadership methods, ensuring Party leadership but without causing delays, and at the same time improving the quality of advisory work and making decisions on important issues.
In which, the contingent of advisory and assisting cadres plays an important role in directly supporting the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Government to lead and direct the implementation of political tasks, Party building work, ideological work, organization, inspection, propaganda, mass mobilization and struggle to protect the ideological foundation of the Party.
According to the Standing Deputy Prime Minister, advisory and assisting work for Party committees, especially Party building organization and personnel work, is a "key of keys", requiring impartiality, transparency, objectivity, meticulousness and compliance with regulations.
Therefore, cadres and party members of advisory and assisting agencies need to continue to improve their advisory qualifications, promote the application of artificial intelligence, and digital transformation to meet the requirements of "both fast and accurate".
If it is only fast but not accurate, it does not meet the requirements; but if it is accurate but slow, the work may no longer be valuable," the Standing Deputy Prime Minister said and noted that Party work must be carried out in accordance with the Party Charter, regulations, resolutions, and conclusions of the Party; and at the same time strengthen inspection, supervision, and guidance for directly affiliated Party committees to effectively implement the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and the Government's Party Committee.
The Government Party Committee will continue to study solutions related to personnel work, planning, training, fostering, and creating conditions for cadres to promote their capacity and strengths within the entire Government Party Committee.
