At the 2nd Plenum of the 14th Central Committee, our Party continued to affirm the requirement to ensure the "going ahead, opening the way" role of political and ideological work, creating solidarity and unity within the Party, consensus in society and consolidating and strengthening the people's trust in the Party.
Regulation No. 19-QD/TW on political and ideological work in the Party has stated the responsibilities of cadres and party members. In which, Article 9 mentions building disciplined awareness.
Regarding compliance with Party discipline: Strictly implement the Charter, organizational principles and activities of the Party, especially the principle of democratic centralism, the principle of self-criticism and criticism.
Strictly implement the Party's resolutions, directives, and conclusions on building and rectifying the Party and the political system; actively participate in building the Party and building a clean and strong political system.
Regarding moral cultivation and style training, the regulations clearly state that it is necessary to proactively and regularly cultivate morality and style training of revolutionaries; strictly implement regulations on exemplary responsibility, on revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members and things that party members are not allowed to do; build a life of honesty, humility, purity, simplicity; diligence, thrift, integrity, righteousness, and impartiality.
Resolutely fight against bureaucracy, authoritarianism, corruption, wastefulness, negativity, individualism, opportunism, self-interest, factionalism, "group interests".
Pioneering, exemplary, dynamic, creative, daring to think, daring to speak, daring to do, daring to face difficulties and challenges, daring to break through, daring to take responsibility for the common good; close to the people, close to the grassroots, relying on the people; fighting against the ideology of indifference, avoidance, formalism, and vanity.
Article 10 of Regulation 19-QD/TW states the content on research, study and implementation of Party resolutions.
Accordingly, with research and study of resolutions: Regularly study Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh ideology, theory on renovation guidelines, improve theoretical level, firmly grasp the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws.
Fully and seriously attend conferences to study and thoroughly grasp resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Party.
Proactively research, exchange, discuss, understand correctly, firmly grasp, and creatively apply the resolution to practice.
Regarding the implementation of the resolution, the regulation clearly states the development of personal action plans in accordance with responsibilities and tasks; proactively and consciously implement to the end, with specific results.
Responsible for propagating the resolution; participating in summarizing practice, contributing intelligence to building theoretical basis, planning guidelines and policies.
