On May 19, on the occasion of the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu awarded 80-year Party badges to 3 veteran Party members in Da Nang.
The Central working delegation led by Mr. Tran Cam Tu - Member of the Politburo, Permanent Secretary of the Secretariat - as Head of the delegation came to the private house of party member Nguyen Thi Kha, born in 1930, in An Hai ward to present the 80-year Party membership badge.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kha is currently active at Party Cell 4, An Hai Ward Party Committee. During revolutionary activities, she held many positions in women's work, Party and government work in Quang Nam - Da Nang. She was once arrested and imprisoned by the enemy but still maintained her integrity and loyalty to the Party and the revolution.
Here, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu cordially inquired about the health and life of Party member Nguyen Thi Kha and her family; and expressed deep gratitude for the contributions of generations of veteran Party members in the cause of national liberation, construction and defense of the Fatherland.
On the same day, at the Da Nang City Party Committee hall, Mr. Tran Cam Tu continued to present 80-year Party membership badges, certificates and flowers to congratulate two party members Bui Thi Lieu and Tran Thanh Dan.
Party member Bui Thi Lieu was born on January 1, 1926, from Tam Anh commune, Da Nang city; currently active at the Party Cell of residential area 23, Hoa Cuong Ward Party Committee. Party member Tran Thanh Dan was born on March 12, 1927, from Ba To commune, Quang Ngai province; currently active at Party Cell 17, Hoa Xuan Ward Party Committee.

Speaking at the Party Badge awarding ceremony, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu emphasized that this is a noble reward of the Party, recognizing the process of training and persistent dedication of loyal communist soldiers to the revolutionary cause.
He requested the Da Nang City Party Committee and grassroots Party committees to continue to well implement regimes and policies; regularly care for and take care of the material and spiritual lives of elderly Party members in the area.
The 80-year Party badge is a special recognition for the lifelong contributions of veteran Party members, and at the same time reminds officials and Party members today to continue to maintain their qualities and responsibility to serve the Fatherland and the people.
