2 Departments and 1 Board of Ben Tre have not appointed a Director yet

Ben Tre - According to Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Ben Tre province, currently 2 Departments and 1 Board of Ben Tre province have not appointed or completed the position of Director.

On October 1, Mr. Le Duc Vinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Ben Tre province - said that currently the Department of Construction, the Department of Finance and the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of Traffic Works of Ben Tre province are lacking the position of Director.

After the Standing Committee of Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee has issued a policy, the Department of Home Affairs is coordinating with the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board and related units to carry out procedures to complete and appoint the Director position for the above units.

Mr. Vinh added that in addition to the above units, Ben Tre province has two units that are lacking leadership positions: Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and Principal of Ben Tre Political School.

Previously, Mr. Doan Cong Dung - Director of the Department of Construction of Ben Tre province - retired from February 1, 2024. After that, Mr. Nguyen Van Tam - Deputy Director of the Department of Construction of Ben Tre province - was assigned to take charge of, manage and operate the activities of this department from February 1, 2024.

On June 10, 2024, the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Decision of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on personnel work. Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Van Lon - Director of the Ben Tre Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board - was transferred to work at the Binh Dai District Party Committee, appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Binh Dai District Party Committee, term 2020-2025. Currently, Mr. Tran Van Hoi - Deputy Director of the Ben Tre Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board - is assigned to be in charge of, manage and operate the activities of this Board.

On August 29, Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to receive and transfer Mr. Vo Van Phu - Director of the Department of Finance of Ben Tre province - to work at the Ba Tri District Party Committee, appoint him to participate in the Party Executive Committee, the District Party Committee Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Ba Tri District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, starting from September 1, 2024. Currently, the Department of Finance of Ben Tre province is assigned by Mr. Ho Huy Hai - Deputy Director of the Department of Finance of Ben Tre province - to be in charge of, manage and operate the activities of this department.

In addition, Mr. Cao Van Dung - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and Principal of Ben Tre Political School - has retired and received social insurance benefits since September 1, 2024. Currently, Ms. Nguyen Truc Hanh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department - is assigned to be in charge of, manage and operate the activities of this Department.
