On February 17, Ben Tre Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Provincial Police Director on retirement with pension benefits.

At the announcement ceremony, the Board of Directors of Ben Tre Provincial Police issued decisions to retire with pension benefits from March 1, 2025 to 25 leaders at the department and district levels, including 7 comrades who are department heads, 3 comrades who are district police heads, 11 comrades who are deputy department heads and 4 comrades who are deputy district police heads. These cases have a service period according to regulations from 8 months to 57 months.
Implementing the policy of the Politburo, the Central Party Committee of the Public Security and the Director of the Provincial Public Security, 25 police officers and deputy police officers of units and localities have voluntarily submitted applications for early retirement to enjoy pension benefits to facilitate the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus of the Ben Tre Provincial Police in the coming time. The cases of this period of leave are all leaders and commanders who have gone through many different fields of work and have worked and contributed to the Party, State and the industry for 29 years or more, many comrades have been with the industry for over 40 years. During their work, they have always maintained a strong political stance, courage, striving, and being dedicated to their profession; in all difficulties and challenges, together with the Party Committee, unit and local leaders, united, and excellently completed the assigned political tasks.


On behalf of the 25 retired police officers, Colonel Truong Tan Tung - Head of the Internal Political Security Department of Ben Tre Provincial Police expressed: I personally and the 24 comrades who retired this time have clearly recognized the responsibility of individuals in implementing the policies of the Party and the People's Public Security force in continuing to reorganize and streamline the apparatus. Although we have retired, we promise to continue to uphold the revolutionary nature of the People's Public Security officer, pay attention to monitoring and grasping the situation, regularly maintain contact with the unit, be ready to support and contribute to building the Provincial Police force in our home province under our conditions and abilities when the agency or unit needs to; actively participate in contributing to maintaining security and order in the locality, place of residence... "
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Truong Son Lam - Director of Ben Tre Provincial Police - congratulated 25 officers who had excellently completed their assigned tasks, were entitled to retire and enjoy pension benefits according to regulations. At the same time, he acknowledged the important contributions and dedication of the comrades to ensuring security and order, contributing to the overall achievements of the Provincial Police in recent times. The cadres who voluntarily applied for early retirement have shown courage, high sense of responsibility, exemplary behavior, leadership, sacrifice, and great contributions in implementing the policy of streamlining the organizational apparatus;
This is an action and job that has strong influence, an important driving force for the Provincial Police to best complete the work of arranging and assigning cadres when implementing the new organizational apparatus, as well as the development of personnel projects for Party congresses at all levels, term 2025 - 2030. Hopefully, after retirement, you will continue to promote the fine tradition of People's Public Security officers, always monitoring, accompanying and supporting Party committees, unit and local leaders to successfully complete assigned political tasks; actively contributing opinions to build a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern provincial public security force, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
