4 Provincial Police Directors retire, Minister assigns responsibility to deputy levels

Last week, it was noted that the Directors of the Public Security of Binh Dinh, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, and Dak Lak provinces retired, including a Major General who retired early.

On June 2, Gia Lai Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security on retirement and the decision to promote the rank and salary increase in 2025.

At the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Ninh Thi Minh Hoa - Head of the Police Organization Department of Gia Lai Province - announced the decisions of the Minister of Public Security on the leave of retirement regime for Major General Rah Lan Lam - Director of the Provincial Police Department; Decision Colonel Pham Huu Truong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director - In charge of the Provincial Public Security.

Also on June 2, Dak Lak Provincial Police Director Le Vinh Quy was decided by the Ministry of Public Security to retire early from June 1, 2025. Major General Le Vinh Quy has more than 40 years of service in the public security sector.

Major General Le Vinh Quy (58 years old, from Quang Nam) has held the positions of Deputy Director of Dak Nong Provincial Police (July 2015 - December 2019), Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police (January 2020 - February 2021). From February 2021 to present, Major General Le Vinh Quy has been the Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police.

The Minister of Public Security has signed a decision to assign Colonel Le Huu Tuan - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, to be in charge of Dak Lak Provincial Police until the Director of the Provincial Police is appointed.

Also in the week, on June 3, authorized by the Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant Colonel Vo Quy Tuan - Head of the Organization and Personnel Department of Binh Dinh Provincial Police - announced the Decision on retirement from the pension regime from June 1, 2025 for Colonel Vo Duc Nguyen - Director of Binh Dinh Provincial Police.

At the same time, Mr. Tuan also announced the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on assigning the task to Colonel Ngo Cu Vinh - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, in charge of Binh Dinh Provincial Police from June 1, 2025 until personnel are completed.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Vo Duc Nguyen affirmed that after retiring, he will continue to maintain the qualities of People's Public Security officers, promote the role of Party members, and actively participate in security and order protection activities in the locality.

During the week, on June 4, Kon Tum Provincial Police organized the announcement of the Ministry of Public Security's decision on early retirement for Colonel Nguyen Hong Nhat - Director of the Provincial Police.

Colonel Nguyen Hong Nhat was born in 1965, in Phuoc Hiep commune (Tuy Phuoc district, Binh Dinh). Mr. Nhat was appointed by the Minister of Public Security as Director of Kon Tum Provincial Police in 2020.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Nhat has nearly 42 years of service in the police force, 18 years as a leader of units, and more than 10 years as a leader of Kon Tum Provincial Police.

After Mr. Nhat retired, the Ministry of Public Security assigned Colonel Tran Thi Thu Phuoc - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, to be in charge of the Kon Tum Provincial Police during the period of waiting for the province to be merged.
