On the afternoon of October 4, the holding session of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term took place. At the congress, 448 out of 449 delegates were called up to attend, ensuring sufficient conditions for the Congress to conduct according to the Party Charter and related regulations. The delegates represented more than 128,700 party members of the entire Provincial Party Committee.
At the beginning of the program, the Organizing Committee of the Congress informed in general the goals and requirements of the admission session. The focus is on completing the necessary procedures to make the official session on October 5 operate smoothly.
The content includes the approval of the working program for the election of secretary, electing management and support agencies, the approval of the official session program, internal rules and regulations; announcement of the delegation group arrangement and meeting locations, dissemination of some professional notes to serve the Congress.
The Congress agreed to uphold the spirit of thrift and efficiency, promote hall speech discipline and document information discipline. The organization, logistics, security, health care, and information and propaganda work have been carefully prepared; the flag-raising ceremony, welcoming the children's delegation and other rituals have been carefully guided to ensure the official session takes place according to the correct scenario, solemnly and warmly.
Regarding the number of the Presidium, the Congress agreed on the plan of 17 comrades. The list of personnel recommended by the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term has been studied, discussed and approved by delegates with a very high approval rate.
Before attending the admission session, delegates came to offer flowers and incense to pay tribute at the Temple of Uncle Ho and the heroic martyrs of Quang Tri province.
