Closing ceremony of the Training and Knowledge Update Program for Members of the 14th Party Central Committee (First Class) co-organized by the Central Organization Committee and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, according to VNA.
In the summary report, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, stated clearly: The training and knowledge update class takes place from August 17-23, for 63 members of the 14th Party Central Committee.
The content of study and training focuses on 5 groups of issues including: Development thinking and national governance; Theory of renovation guidelines; Party building and political system; Science and technology and digital transformation; National defense, security, foreign affairs and culture.

Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc emphasized that after 7 days of studying and practical research, the training and knowledge update program for 63 members of the 14th Party Central Committee (1st class) marked a fundamental change in senior leadership training, shifting from purely updating knowledge to developing 5 core competencies and creating knowledge from practice.
The overarching goal is to transform what has been learned into breakthrough decisions and institutions in localities and units; building a lifelong learning system for leading officials.
Head of the Central Organization Committee said that General Secretary and President To Lam pointed out a contradiction in pace: Reality changes very quickly, while awareness and policy-making process always have a certain delay. Overcoming this contradiction is not by doing faster in the old way but by innovating methods: both implementing and testing, evaluating; both deciding and receiving, responding to timely adjustment. That way of doing things requires the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility for the common good. Innovation must go hand in hand with responsibility; creativity must be based on political, legal, scientific and practical foundations.
According to Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc, the past 7 days have created a network of direct connections between comrades in charge of many different sectors, fields and localities. This is a very important result that needs to be continued to be maintained and promoted.
Building learning capacity is not only for each official but also for the organization they are in charge of; it is proposed that comrades pay attention to establishing mechanisms in their agencies and units to regularly update knowledge, receive feedback, evaluate practice and proactively self-adjust.
