Dak Lak - After quitting her position as Deputy Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police and retiring, Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan will still be a National Assembly Delegate until March 2026.

On May 31, a source from Lao Dong Newspaper confirmed that after ceasing to hold the position of Deputy Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police and retiring under the regime, Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan will continue to hold the role of National Assembly delegate.

According to the source, Ms. Xuan will continue to perform this task until March 2026, when the competent authority will organize a congress and elect a new National Assembly delegation.

Major General Nguyen Thi Xuan (born in 1967, from Thai Binh) has a Master's degree in People's Security, a Bachelor's degree in Law, and a senior political theory.

From November 2019 to March 2020, Ms. Xuan was a Major General, holding the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Legal Affairs and Administrative and Judicial Reform, Ministry of Public Security.

From March 2020 to July 2021, Ms. Xuan was a member of the Standing Committee of the National Defense and Security Committee of the 14th National Assembly.

From July 2021 to present, Ms. Xuan has been a member of the 15th National Assembly, a Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense and Security, and then Deputy Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police.
