On the morning of December 31, the Central Internal Affairs Commission organized a Conference to deploy the Secretariat's Decision on personnel work. Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac chaired the Conference.
Attending the Conference was Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Le Minh Tri.
At the Conference, Ms. Bui Thi Quynh Van - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee - announced the Secretariat's decision on the appointment of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the agency, Director of the Department of Internal Affairs, to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truong was born in 1978; graduated from the People's Security Academy, holds a PhD in Law (specializing in Criminalology and Crime Prevention), Advanced Political Theory.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truong has held many positions: Lecturer at the People's Security Academy; official of the Office of the Central Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption; Deputy Director of the Department of Monitoring and Handling Cases and Events; Director of the Department of Local Affairs I; Director of the Department of Internal Affairs Agency, Central Internal Affairs Commission.
At the Conference, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac congratulated Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truong on being trusted by the Secretariat and assigned new tasks; and at the same time acknowledged and highly appreciated his efforts, training, maturity and contributions in the past time.
The Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission proposed that in his new position, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truong continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, constantly study, train, improve political bravery, professional capacity and practical experience; strive to better complete assigned tasks, meeting the increasing requirements of internal affairs work, anti-corruption, wastefulness, negativity and judicial reform.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truong expressed great honor when he was trusted and appointed by the Secretariat to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.
The new Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission promised to seriously grasp the directing opinions of Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac, continue to strive and train in the new working position; be absolutely loyal to the Party, to the Fatherland and the people; be steadfast in the goals and ideals of the Party; strictly comply with the Platform and Charter of the Party; the Constitution and laws of the State.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truong affirmed that he will constantly study and improve his theory, expertise, and practical bravery; maintain moral qualities, a pure lifestyle; promote discipline, order, and the spirit of setting an example.
At the same time, expressing determination to join the collective leadership of the Central Internal Affairs Commission to promote the tradition of solidarity, responsibility, innovation, and improve the quality of strategic advisory services to the Party in the fields of internal affairs, anti-corruption, wastefulness, negativity and judicial reform; contributing to maintaining political stability, order, social safety, and consolidating people's trust in the Party and the State.
