This content is stated in Conclusion No. 91-KL/TW on organizing the celebration of major holidays and important historical events of the country in the period 2026 - 2030 of the Secretariat.
The Secretariat's conclusion clearly stated that the period 2026 - 2030 has many major holidays and particularly important historical events of the country, including the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and the 140th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh.
Accordingly, regarding the content, scale and methods of organizing commemorative activities, the Secretariat requests to thoroughly grasp the requirement that the organization of commemorations of major holidays and important historical events must be directed towards the People, taking historical, political, cultural, and educational values as the focus.
In which, determining the content and form of organization to ensure conformity with the scale, nature, meaning and actual conditions of each event; focusing on leadership, direction and allocating resources for events of special significance.
Each event clearly defines the goals, core content, messages, targets and results to be achieved as a basis for selecting appropriate activities. Review and integrate similar content, reduce duplication and spreading, organize substantive implementation, ensure quality and efficiency.
The Secretariat requests to deploy information, propaganda, and historical and traditional education proactively and consistently from the preparation and organization process to promoting the value of the event; develop early content orientation, commemorative propaganda themes and have information and propaganda plans before, during and after the event, ensuring timeliness, unity, vividness, creating a widespread effect and suitable for each target audience.
Innovate content and methods of transmission, effectively combine press, publishing, literature, art, cinema, museums, relics, schools with modern communication methods; promote the application of science, technology, digital transformation, digitization and exploitation of documents, data, heritage, creating conditions for people to proactively access, learn, interact, experience and spread historical and cultural values, especially serving propaganda and education for the young generation.
Proactively grasp the ideological situation, public opinion and information in cyberspace; promptly provide official information, orient public opinion, fight against false information and viewpoints, distort history, deny revolutionary achievements, contributing to protecting the ideological foundation of the Party, consolidating trust and social consensus.
Focus on propaganda and promote foreign information work to promote Vietnam's history, culture, country, people and achievements, contributing to strengthening understanding, friendship, cooperation and enhancing Vietnam's position and prestige in the international arena.
