This morning (September 21), at the National Convention Center (Hanoi), the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Vietnam Journalists Association held a ceremony to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 2525 - June 21, 2025).
This is a milestone of special significance, affirming and honoring the glorious tradition of 100 years of serving the revolutionary cause of the Party, serving the Fatherland, serving the People of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.
General Secretary To Lam; former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh attended the ceremony. Also attending were Politburo members: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man. Also attending were Politburo members, Secretariat members, Central Party Executive Committee members, outstanding journalists, leaders of news agencies and newspapers.
At the ceremony, to recognize and commend the outstanding achievements of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press over the past 100 years, the Party and State decided to award the Ho Chi Minh Medal to the team of Vietnamese journalists.
Mr. Pham Huy Giang - Head of the Central Emulation and Reward Committee - presided over the ceremony to receive the Ho Chi Minh Medal.
According to Decision No. 1114 dated June 20, 2025, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam decided to award the Ho Chi Minh Medal to the Vietnam Revolutionary Press for its many contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, General Secretary To Lam presented the Ho Chi Minh Medal to the Vietnamese revolutionary press.
After wearing the ceremony, comrades representing the Vietnamese revolutionary press to the decision-making position and receiving this noble award include: Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission. Central Party Committee members: Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung; Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association Le Quoc Minh. Former members of the Party Central Committee: Mr. Ha Dang - former Head of the Central Cultural ideology Department, former Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, former Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine; Mr. Ho Tien Nghi - former General Director of VNA; Mr. Nguyen Hong Vinh - former Deputy Head of the Central ideological and Cultural Department, former Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, former Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Mr. Ta Ngoc Tan - former Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, former Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine, former Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council. Also promoted to the honorary position are Ms. Ly Viet Trung - Editor-in-Chief of Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngan - reporter of Vietnam Television.
