Despite the rain, voters gathered quite crowded at 4 early polling stations in Tam Thang, Phuoc Thang wards, and Long Son commune.
In which, Voting area No. 1 at the headquarters of Naval Flotilla 129 (Phuoc Thang ward) serves voters of Naval Flotilla 128 and Naval Flotilla 129 (under the Navy) and ships on duty throughout the sea area managed by the Command of Naval Region 2.
Voting area No. 2 at the headquarters of Fisheries Resources Surveillance Team No. 2 (Phuoc Thang ward) serves voters under the Command of Coast Guard Region 3; Fisheries Resources Surveillance Team No. 2; and the Standing Militia Flotilla (under the Ho Chi Minh City Command) and ships on duty in areas bordering Vietnam with Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Cambodia.
Voting area No. 3 at the headquarters of the Command of Naval Region 2 (Long Son commune) serving voters of DK1 Battalion, Brigade 125; Command of Naval Region 2.
According to regulations, the onshore voting time in these areas starts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on February 26th, and some areas also hold a send-off ceremony for ships departing to perform early election tasks for voters on duty at sea.
Voting area No. 4 at Vung Tau airport (Tam Thang ward) serves voters belonging to the Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Vietsovpetro; officials, employees and contractors working on drilling rigs and sea vehicles. The voting time in this area is extended to 7 pm on March 14, in order to create maximum conditions for experts and employees working on sea projects.
