In the afternoon of February 25, the working delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Election Commission and the working group No. 12 of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee inspected the actual preparation work in 4 areas organizing early elections; it is expected to open simultaneously at 7 am on February 26.
These are early election locations for more than 4,500 voters belonging to forces and units on duty and working at sea, who cannot exercise their voting rights on the election day of National Assembly Deputies of the 16th term and People's Council Deputies at all levels, term 2026-2031 taking place on March 15.
At early election locations, delegations inspected the work of compiling and listing voter lists; preparation work; security and safety assurance work; onshore voting organization plans... as well as mobilizing ships to offshore platforms and ships on duty at sea.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tho - Standing Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, Standing Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Election Committee - praised the proactive spirit of the units when they quickly completed the basic preparation work.
At the same time, requesting early polling stations to continue to closely review all stages, especially for the list of more than 4,500 early voters. Thereby, ensuring that all eligible voters have their rights and obligations as citizens, contributing to the overall success of the election of National Assembly Deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels, term 2026-2031.
