He has held many positions in Ninh Thuan such as: Chief of Office, Deputy Director, Director of the Department of Construction.
In November 2020, Mr. Canh was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee.
At the 16th session of the People's Council of Ninh Thuan province, term XI (January 22, 2024), the Provincial People's Council voted to dismiss him from the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
After that, the Standing Committee of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee assigned and transferred Mr. Canh to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Ninh Hai District Party Committee, term 2020-2025.
