At the conference, Mr. Do Trong Hung - Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee - announced Decision No. 1674-QDNS/TW, dated November 12, 2024 of the Politburo approving Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province - to hold the position of Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025 and appointed him to join the Party Committee of Military Region 4, term 2020 - 2025.
On behalf of the Politburo, Mr. Le Minh Hung - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee - presented the decision, presented congratulatory flowers and delivered a speech assigning tasks to Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province.
Previously, in October 2024, the Politburo assigned and appointed Mr. Thai Thanh Quy - Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee - to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission.
