On the afternoon of February 3, the Ministry of Public Security presided over and coordinated with the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, the Central Party Office and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to organize the introduction and release ceremony of the book "Absolute loyalty to the Fatherland, the Party, the State and the People - Shining qualities of a revolutionary police officer" by General, Professor, Dr. To Lam - General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Attending the book introduction and release ceremony were Politburo members: Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang - Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; General Luong Tam Quang - Minister of Public Security.
The book introduction and release ceremony is a practical activity to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, towards the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the 80th anniversary of the tradition of the heroic Vietnam People's Public Security Forces.
The book's content is presented in 766 pages with 80 articles, speeches, and interviews selected from more than 500 articles by the author, along with 71 photos vividly reflecting General Secretary To Lam's visits and work at the police stations of units, localities, and grassroots areas during his tenure as Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee and Minister of Public Security.
The book demonstrates the author's consistent thinking in creatively applying, developing, and protecting Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws in the cause of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, and building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern public security force.
The book has great theoretical and practical value, is a valuable document vividly reflecting the achievements and historical lessons of our Party in leading the cause of national construction and defense in general, protecting national security, and ensuring social order and safety in particular.
The book provides a rich source of documents and a system of scientific arguments guiding research, theoretical development, practical summary, education and training, fostering of cadres and education on the glorious heroic revolutionary tradition of the Vietnam People's Public Security Forces.
Above all, the book demonstrates the responsibility, dedication, and devotion to the country and people of General, Professor, Dr. To Lam towards the cause of building and firmly protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland in the new era.
At the ceremony, Senior General Luong Tam Quang - Minister of Public Security - said that the book is not only a valuable document but also clearly demonstrates great ideas, broad vision, supplementing and developing the Party's awareness and theoretical thinking on protecting security and order.
The book is a comprehensive guideline and orientation for the People's Public Security Forces in combat and force building in the following years.
