Vietnam Ministry of Public Security presented nearly 3 tons of goods to support Myanmar

On the morning of April 1, the working delegation of the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security presented nearly 3 tons of medicine and medical equipment to Myanmar.

Accordingly, Colonel Nguyen Minh Khuong - Deputy Director of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Head of the working delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam - presented these medicine and supplies to Mr. Sa Weli Frag - Director of the Department of Natural Disaster Management, Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement of Myanmar with the desire to provide medical support for the country to overcome this difficult period.

These drugs and equipment include: antibiotics, digestive drugs, flu medicine... Basic health care medical equipment: blood pressure measuring devices, blood sugar measuring devices, SpO2 pairs, straws, bananas, antibacterial... Supplementes to support epidemic prevention such as: mosquito spraying bottles, insect repellent chemicals...

Sincerely thanking the support of the Relief Team of the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security, Mr. Sa Weli Frag said that he would immediately transfer these drugs and medical equipment to the Myanmar Ministry of Health to deliver directly to disadvantaged areas where there is a shortage of drugs and medical supplies.

Previously, last night (March 31), during the rescue process in Zabuthiri town, the Working Group also presented medicine and essential necessities to the local government there.

Today is the third day that the Ministry of Public Security's rescue team in Myanmar has helped overcome the consequences of the 7.7 earthquake.

Last night (March 31), the rescue team of the Vietnam Police brought the body of a 10-year-old boy from a collapsed 4-storey building in Naypyidaw, Myanmar. The rescue team then handed over the body to the victim's family.
