President Luong Cuong awarded decisions to appoint 2 Deputy Chief Justices of the Supreme People's Court.

On the morning of January 7, at the Presidential Palace, Politburo Member, President Luong Cuong chaired the ceremony to award decisions to appoint Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court (TANDTC) for Judges of the Supreme People's Court Le Tien and Nguyen Bien Thuy.

Attending the decision-giving ceremony were members of the Party Central Committee: Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Nguyen Van Quang, Chairman of the Presidential Office Le Khanh Hai, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung - Deputy Minister of Public Security; representatives of leaders of central departments, ministries, branches and units of the Supreme People's Court.

Handing over the decisions and speaking at the ceremony, the President congratulated the 2 Deputy Chief Justices of the Supreme People's Court on their appointment and affirmed that this is a recognition and high appreciation from the Party, State, people and the Court sector; at the same time, it is a great honor, as well as a very great responsibility for the two comrades.

President Luong Cuong affirmed that the two Deputy Chief Justices of the Supreme People's Court appointed are all cadres who have been basically and systematically trained, have high professional qualifications, have grown up from the grassroots level, and have a lot of practical experience in the field of justice.

To successfully complete the tasks in his new position, the President requested the two comrades to strictly adhere to the Party's leadership, strictly implement the principles and provisions of the Constitution and laws, and together with the leadership of the Supreme People's Court and the leaders of the Court sector, implement the highest goal, which is to protect justice, protect human rights, citizens' rights, protect the socialist regime, protect the interests of the State, the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals; successfully implement the goal of "building a professional, modern, fair, strict, and honest judiciary, serving the Fatherland and serving the people".

The President also requested the 2 newly appointed personnel to constantly innovate in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies on judicial reform, on building a socialist rule-of-law state, perfecting the legal system, contributing to creating and promoting the country's development in the new era - the era of rich, prosperous, civilized, and happy development of the Vietnamese nation.

On behalf of the appointed personnel, speaking to receive the assignment, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Le Tien affirmed that this is a great honor, but also a great responsibility entrusted by the Party, State and people; especially, in the context that the Court sector is actively implementing the resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Party with very high requirements on building a socialist rule-of-law state of the people, by the people and for the people; on innovating and building a complete legal system; promoting judicial reform; building a professional, modern, fair, incorruptible, and devoted justice system serving the Fatherland and serving the people.

Accepting the deep direction of the President, Mr. Le Tien promised absolute loyalty, compliance with the Party's leadership; constantly cultivating political qualities, revolutionary ethics and studying to improve qualifications; always upholding the spirit of serving the Fatherland and serving the people; together with comrades in the Party Committee and leaders of the Supreme People's Court, leading the construction of a clean and strong Court sector, successfully completing assigned political tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the goal of building and developing the country in the new era.
