On May 5, Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee held a conference to announce the decision to establish the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center.
The Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center is established on the basis of reorganizing the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center under the Office of the Provincial People's Committee; Tourism Promotion Center under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion Center under the Department of Industry and Trade.
At the conference, the decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Do Van Binh - Provincial Party Committee Member, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Cam Lo commune to hold the position of Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center was also announced.
Mr. Do Van Binh (born in 1979, from Vinh Long commune, Vinh Linh district, former Quang Tri province) used to be a lecturer at Quang Tri Provincial Pedagogical College, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Standing Deputy Secretary of Dakrong District Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Director of Quang Tri Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Secretary of Cam Lo District Party Committee.
Also at the conference, Quang Tri province announced the decision to transfer and appoint 2 Deputy Directors of the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center: Mr. Nguyen Duc Tan (Director of the Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center under the Office of the Provincial People's Committee) and Ms. Bui Thi Thanh Thuy (Director of the Tourism Promotion Center under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism).
