According to initial information, the accident occurred at about 9:45 am on May 5 in the intersection between Ring Road 3 elevated and the beginning of Thang Long bridge (direction to Dong Anh, Hanoi).

Among them, there is 1 car with license plate 88A-531. XX almost crumpled, lying between a howo truck with license plate 29E-491. XX and a truck 88C-078. XX.
Sharing with PV, Mr. N.V.T (driver of closed-box truck BKS 29K-125. XX) said that at the above time, while moving down to the end of Ring Road 3 elevated, he suddenly felt a very strong collision from behind the car.
After stopping, we saw a flat 4-seater car behind us, everyone present at that time gathered to help rescue people. The driver was male, with scratches on his legs and arms but still walking normally, the 2 female friends sitting together panicked, not seriously injured. All were then taken to the emergency room," Mr. N.V.T shared.
And Mr. T.V. S (driver of car BKS 29D-063. XX - the car in the back of the collision) shared that at that time, the vehicles moved relatively slowly.
While driving, a Howo truck with license plate 29E-491. XX suddenly swerved up, crashed into the right side of my car and then continuously collided with the vehicles in front. The incident happened very quickly. Fortunately, there were no casualties," Mr. T.V. S shared.
Immediately upon receiving the news, Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 (CSGT) - Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police urgently arrived at the scene, coordinated with relevant units to organize traffic diversion, traffic regulation, and handle the incident.
Initially identified, the vehicles involved included car license plate 30B-912.xx driven by Mr. N.V.M (born 1995, residing in Thanh Hoa); closed box truck with registration number 29K-125.xx driven by Mr. N.V.T (born 1995, residing in Hanoi);
Tank truck BKS 88C-078. xx driven by Mr. N.V.A (born 1984, residing in Hanoi); Honda City car BKS 88A-531. xx driven by Mr. N.V.S (born 1993, residing in Vinh Phuc), with 2 people on board; along with some other vehicles including cars BKS 29E-491. xx, 29KT-001. xx, 29D-063. xx, 29H-286. xx, 29H-868. xx and tractor-trailer BKS 98E-007. xx pulling semi-trailer BKS 98R-029. xx.
The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified.
