According to information from the Ministry of Home Affairs, at the October work briefing and November 2024 task deployment conference that just took place, Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra highly appreciated the results achieved by the Ministry of Home Affairs in October 2024. However, the Minister also frankly pointed out the shortcomings and limitations that need to be focused on overcoming in the coming time.
Regarding the tasks of November 2024, in addition to the tasks set out in the draft Report, Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra emphasized and requested units under the Ministry of Home Affairs to focus on completing documents related to the completion of the issuance of legal documents in 2024.
Complete 4 dossiers proposing the development of laws: Law on Non-Governmental Organizations; Law on Organization of Local Government; Law on Cadres, Civil Servants and Law on Public Employees according to new thinking, in the right direction, ensuring the principles of decentralization, delegation of power and reform of administrative procedures; submit to the Government for promulgation of 7 Decrees and submit to the Minister for promulgation under his authority 8 Circulars.
Actively coordinate with the Law Committee to complete all Projects to submit to the National Assembly Standing Committee for approval of the Resolution on the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels.
Synthesize and report on the implementation results of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 19-NQ/TW.
Notably, the Minister requested units under the Ministry to review and guide new issues in relevant amendments and Decrees; and urgently complete the overall assessment report on adjusting the basic salary.
Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra noted to focus on the advantages, shortcomings, difficulties and problems of some subjects to advise and propose solutions; urge relevant ministries, branches and localities to implement financial mechanisms and specific income, coordinate with the Ministry of Finance to advise and propose solutions.
Strengthening the management of the field of religion and belief in the current situation, closely, specifically, thoroughly, firmly, cautiously, flexibly, and softly but effectively.
Proactively review and remove all difficulties and obstacles related to emulation and rewards in the spirit of cutting and simplifying administrative procedures.
