In a dispatch replying to the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province, the Ministry of Home Affairs said that, based on Conclusion No. 83-KL/TW dated June 21, 2024 of the Politburo on salary reform, adjustment of pensions and benefits, social insurance, preferential allowances for people with meritorious services, social allowances from July 1, 2024 and Resolution of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly, from July 1, 2024 when implementing regional salary adjustments according to Decree No. 73 of the Government:
Raising the base salary from 1,800,000 VND/month to 2,340,000 VND/month (an increase of 30%) and implementing the bonus regime for officials, civil servants, public employees and the armed forces will continue. Implement current allowance regimes (including preferential allowances and seniority allowances for teachers).
Notably, in the process of implementing allowance regimes, especially the seniority allowance regime, if unreasonableness arises, the Ministry of Home Affairs will coordinate with ministries, industry management agencies and research fields. Submit to competent authorities for consideration and appropriate amendments and supplements.
In addition, according to the Ministry of Education and Training, the teacher seniority allowance regime is implemented according to the provisions of Decree No. 77/2021/ND-CP dated August 1, 2021 of the Government.
Educators participating in teaching and education and paying compulsory social insurance for 5 years (60 months) are entitled to seniority allowances equal to 5% of their current salary plus leadership position allowances and seniority allowances. beyond the frame (if any). From the 6th year onwards, each year (full 12 months) is calculated an additional 1%.
