Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra has just signed and issued a Plan of the Party Committee to implement Regulation No. 189-QD/TW of the Politburo on controlling power, preventing and combating corruption and negativity in the management and use of public finance and assets.

The plan aims to thoroughly grasp and raise awareness and responsibility of Party committees and heads of units under and directly under the Ministry of Home Affairs in implementing Regulation No. 189, creating positive changes in the staff.

In particular, the plan requires promoting the responsibility of setting an example for the heads of Party committees, Party organizations, agencies, organizations, units and the responsibility of each Party member, civil servant, public employee and worker in preventing and combating corruption and negativity.

The implementation contents must be comprehensive, focused and key; control activities must be respectful, not hindering the normal operations of agencies, units, organizations, and competent persons in the management and use of public finance and assets.

The Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs clearly stated the need to thoroughly grasp and disseminate Regulation 189-QD/TW and focus on building and perfecting mechanisms, policies, laws and strictly implementing legal regulations on management and use of public finance and assets.

In particular, the Ministry of Home Affairs requires strengthening inspection, examination, auditing, supervision, detection and handling of violations, corruption and negativity in the management and use of public finance and assets.
