Afternoon of July 8, in Hà Nội, the Task Force for the Implementation of the Scheme on Developing Data Application for Citizens, Electronic Identification and Authentication to Serve the National Digital Transformation in the 2022-2025 Period, with a Vision to 2030 of the Government (Scheme 06) held a meeting in July 2024. Lieutenant General Lương Tam Quang, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Minister of Public Security, and Head of the Task Force for the Implementation of Scheme 06, chaired the meeting.
According to the Information Portal of Ministry of Public Security, the report at the meeting clearly stated that, in line with the role of the standing agency, in the month, the Ministry of Public Security worked with relevant units under other ministries and sectors to promote the implementation of tasks under Scheme 06.
Accordingly, it cooperated with the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to organize the 2024 Ceremony of Gratitude to People who have rendered Meritorious Services to the Revolution and introduce the Bank of Genetic Information (ADN) of Unknown Soldiers and their Relatives;
Issued Plan No. 356 dated July 17, 2024, and organized the Launching Ceremony of collecting ADN of Relatives of Unknown Soldiers to be stored in the Genetic Bank for identification purposes;
Implemented the collection of ADN for 204 relatives of Unknown Soldiers in 7 provinces: Hanoi, Nam Dinh, Hung Yen; Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Da Nang, Quang Nam; and also reported to the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to implement socialization, contribute to collecting, creating, and building a data warehouse in 2025…
In his concluding speech, Minister Lương Tam Quang acknowledged and commended the efforts of the ministries and sectors in implementing Scheme 06 over the past period.
Minister Lương Tam Quang requested that the Task Force continue to maintain a high level of political determination, based on the foundations established from the dedication, responsibility, and strong will of General Secretary and President Tô Lâm, former Head of the Task Force.
To implement that political determination, Minister Lương Tam Quang requested that the provinces and cities directly under the Central Government unify and direct the implementation of Scheme 06/CP on the principle of "5 issues - 4 cross-cutting - 3 values - 2 goals - 1 determination" to implement and promote the national digital transformation in a comprehensive and effective manner; requested the Ministry of Information and Communications to issue standards for the national digital address in accordance with the Prime Minister's direction at Resolution No. 28 dated March 5, 2024.
The Ministry of Finance closely followed the Prime Minister's direction, soon sought the opinion of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on the Decree on the budget estimation, management, and use of regular state budget funds. It researched and stipulated the subjects that must implement electronic invoices generated from cash registers, small and medium-sized businesses using electronic devices and cash registers connected to tax authorities during the amendment of Decree No. 123, in accordance with the Prime Minister's direction at Resolution No. 44 dated April 5, 2024.
The Ministry of Education and Training integrated the content of training human resources for digital transformation and Scheme 06 into the Scheme on Developing High-Quality Human Resources for High-Tech Development, in accordance with the Prime Minister's direction at Directive 04; focused on summarizing and implementing the digital student record nationwide to ensure the progress.
The Ministry of Justice researched and built a specific roadmap to connect and synchronize data on civil status, particularly data on birth, death, marriage registration, and correction of civil status to issue ID cards and serve administrative procedures.
